Consent & Screening
Availability
Are there any weeks or specific days when you can't attend between 8am and 12/1pm (e.g. holidays, vacation, exams)?
Sessions mostly run Monday–Friday, with screening tests also available on Saturdays. Marking dates below just helps us fit you in around lab and staff availability alongside other participants.
Female participants: we schedule sessions around your menstrual cycle, tracked in advance with an LH kit we provide (tracking starts before any exercise sessions), and will test on weekends where your cycle phase requires it.
Male participants: after an initial screening test, we'll offer available slots over the following two weeks, and up to 9 weeks after screening.

So we can match your availability to your form without using your full name while we screen and schedule, please give us your initials and the last 3 digits of your phone number.
Send it to us
Your completed consent & screening form and your availability have been turned into two PDFs.
This attaches both PDFs for you. A sharing window will open — choose your email app from it (Outlook, Mail, Gmail and so on), and the message and attachments will be filled in ready to send.
Check the attachments are there before sending. If your browser doesn't support this, download both PDFs above and email them to peter.r.higgins@northumbria.ac.uk instead.
Your information stays on this device until you send the email — nothing is uploaded automatically.
